Creatively Uncorked was started in January 2014 by Shanna Cramer as a way to bring the paint and sip concept to the Fargo-Moorhead area. Creatively Uncorked opened our first studio in the Moorhead Center Mall in January 2015, then moved to the current location in West Fargo in June 2016. Creatively Uncorked East Grand Forks opened in May 2016. The new downtown Fargo location commenced March 2017. What started as a paint and sip concept now offers a variety of crafting classes and special events in addition to canvas painting. Creatively Uncorked now has several artists, two studios, hundreds of paintings, and continually offers fun events within a 100-mile radius of Fargo, ND.
I’m so excited to bring the paint and sip experience to Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding area! Creatively Uncorked is the product of combined passions. With a background in art, teaching, and wine appreciation (wink), it is proving to be the perfect fit. The whole idea is to provide an opportunity for people to relax, have some laughs and get creative with their friends and co-workers. It’s fun art, not fine art, so whether you’re the artistic type or can’t draw a stick figure, you will have a good time. We’ll be offering scheduled events at our West Fargo and downtown Fargo studios, regular events in Grand Forks, Fergus Falls and Detroit Lakes, as well as booking private parties and corporate team building events. No set-up, no clean-up. Just sit down to your canvas with a drink, and paint your masterpiece!
I am an Art Education major at Minnesota State University and am from Fargo, North Dakota. I love art and have been doing it ever since I can remember. My family has always referred to me as the ‘little artist.’ Whenever there has been any kind of art project that my family or friends are in need of, I always am the first one asked to be a part of it!
I love working with all ages and watching people create something that they can be proud of. This is why I am so excited to be working for Creatively Uncorked and really look forward to sharing my passion with everyone I meet.
I’m currently a Junior at Moorhead State University majoring in Studio Art with an emphasis in Sculpture. I’m originally from Bemidji, Minnesota, where I attended charter schools during the entirety of my education. From a very young age, I’ve always been interested in creativity and imagination, never letting go of an opportunity where I could express myself in a creative pursuit! I aspire to be a Professor of The Arts so I can share my passion with students and faculty alike. I believe there is a profound spirituality within art where self-expression is often ignited and I am excited to continue being inspired every day and pursuing my passion!
I’m From Moorhead, Minnesota. I am currently enrolled at Concordia College, Majoring in Art and Psychology, I hope to one day be an Art Therapist! I strongly believe in the healing powers art can bring and I’m stoked to turn my passion and belief into a career. Art has played a major role all throughout my life and I get excited every time I pick up a brush! I’m ecstatic to call Creatively Uncorked my new home and I am excited to share my passion for art with all of you.
I never saw myself as a painter, though I’ve always been an artist. I started with music in various forms from Rap into Progressive Metal. I was the guy who roamed the halls with his guitar in school, high-fiving everyone but couldn’t be bothered while playing. Since starting at Creatively Uncorked my entire visual perception of the world has changed, and I just love the people so much. I had to start painting! I’m only a few steps ahead of the newbies and I pride myself on uncorking creatively with the “least-artistic” people I’ve found.
Have trouble loosening up? I’m your man. Love partying and getting wild? I’m your man. Longing to express yourself? Look no further. I look forward to meeting you.
A graphic designer by day, I’m proud to have created some of the original paintings for Creatively Uncorked since the very beginning. I’ve also flung paint and scrubbed brushes with the talented and hard-working CU crew by night, so I’ve had the chance to see thousands of people enjoy the Creatively Uncorked experience, and go home with big smiles. It’s a happy challenge for me to continue creating fun art with that outcome in mind!
